Class of 2024

Boston Enderle is a recipient of the 2023 Board of Governors scholarship. He is a senior at Western Kentucky University and will graduate in Spring 2024 with a BFA in Film Production. His interest in filmmaking started at age 12 and he wrote, produced, and directed a full-length film as a sophomore in high school. Enderle has a love of the horror genre and shows it through his work. He also focuses on diverse stories from underrepresented creatives as a way to uplift their voices and work.

Enderle’s senior thesis film touches on the queer experience and fears of religious extremism. He said this scholarship will help him complete the project and get it exposure as he continues his career. He is also helping produce other thesis films this year, part of his commitment to encouraging other underrepresented filmmakers – something he intends to continue after graduation.
